Jefri Franks, M.S., CPC
Hi, I’m Jefri. I have a Masters Degree in Counseling and I am a Certified Professional Grief Coach. Many years ago , I lost my 12-year-old daughter, Heather, to cancer. When she died I thought I would die too, of agony and despair. Fortunately, with help and support I began making my way forward. In the years that followed, I learned a lot about the role grief plays in our lives. For example, there is a word for not being able to feel joy. It’s called, anhedonia. With the insights I gained, I did a lot of public speaking, I wrote a book, Heather’s Journey and began working with people who were grappling with their grief. I have found my passion working one-on-one with people who want to do the work required to flourish.
